Dr. McCormick is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor in Kentucky and a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Indiana. He has worked as a therapist in mental health clinics and in private practice in Florida, Kentucky and Indiana.
Dr. McCormick has been a college professor of counseling and behavioral sciences for over thirty years. He specializes in Marriage Counseling, Pre-Marriage Preparation and Divorce Prevention. In the event of a divorce, he offers Divorce Adjustment Counseling. Dr. McCormick has experienced success working with clients who are depressed and who are in need of anger management.
He is a certified counselor and trainer with Living Love Therapy, which was founded by Ken Keyes, Jr. Ken Keyes if the author of "Handbook to Higher Consciousness: The Science of Happiness."
He has trained with Keyes at The Cornucopia Institute in St. Mary, Kentucky; and has also attended workshops with Carl Rogers, Ph.D., William Glasser, M.D. and John Gottman, Ph.D.
Dr. McCormick provides Christian Counseling, Catholic Counseling, Spiritual Counseling and has been Pastor of Agape of Jesus Church of Louisville, Kentucky for over twenty years.

On a personal note, he is widowed to his wife of many years, JoAnn, the father of two and grandfather of five. He has run thirty marathons, including the Boston Marathon, and he has been a college baseball coach for twelve years.
